My book review of 'Digital Street' by Neil Turner

It's set in the world of finance, featuring national politics, global affairs and everyday house sales in the near future.
Kate Bishop is a private banker and married to Richard who has ambitions to be Prime Minister. Their lives unravel when secrets are exposed, and they become entangled in a sinister plot against the British government, orchestrated by Kate's vengeful Russian client.
The backdrop for this is the housing market in crisis, held in a stranglehold through a bitcoin equivalent, a scheme of tokens exchanged for equity.
It's intriguing with a powerful sense of jeopardy. The characters are all believable and authentic, and it's perfectly paced. There are plenty of twists and it's just a fantastic page-turner. I really enjoyed it and am sorry to have got to the end, actually. Might even pick it up again!? I certainly encourage you to read it!
