Suffolk author, Katie Ward proved a fascinating and entertaining speaker as she described how she came to write her book, 'Girl Reading'.

Effectively a collection of seven stories, but billed as a novel through the linking strands, Katie has attracted glowing reviews and much attention, not least because her work has been recommended and commended by Hilary Mantel.
