My review:

Emma Chichester Clark studied under Quentin Blake and they have since worked on a number of projects together. This is a quirky new story with stunning illustrations, aimed at everyone 3+ years.

Liliana is in bed with a cold and her parents are seeking to make her feel better, by reminding her of all that she can do when she's at full strength again.

For Liliana has superhuman strength, and she uses it for the good of her friends, neighbours and community. She'll see a perilous situation and come to the rescue, stopping an out-of-control steamroller or retrieving a removal lorry from the ditch. She can move pianos and bend iron girders and rescue a highland cow stuck in the mud or a beached whale which she lifts back into the sea.

It's a ridiculously silly but funny and positive book. The illustrations are fabulous, full of colour, pattern and warmth - I could look at them for hours. It is a beautiful, joyous book.
